The RCP Relay Panels were designed for applications needing a low voltage switching system at a low price. The RCP system was a simplified solution, allowing basic control from wall switches as well as pilot status. It was a cost effective option compared with the Touch-Plate CPS panels as well as other low voltage systems on the market. The RCP panels also included Stuck Switch Protection, eliminating the possibility of the entire system being affected if one wall switch would fail. The low voltage side of the relay cabinet used circuit boards with colored terminals, making the wiring easy to understand and follow. The RCP system was very popular, specifically in residential applications, through the 1990’s and early 2000’s.
