Touch-Plate®, headquartered in Fort-Wayne, Indiana designs and manufacturers lighting control systems for the residential and commercial market.

Founded in 1946, Touch-Plate® pioneered the development, manufacturing, and marketing of low voltage lighting control systems for the residential market. Through conviction and resilience Touch-Plate® educated builders and home owners on the value of remote lighting control as it was less expensive to install compared to traditional wiring. By 1950 Touch-Plate® lighting control systems had been installed in thousands of homes across the country.

Since it's early success, Touch-Plate® continues to sell and service the residential market while expanding into commercial and industrial applications. As the electrical industry doubled in size each decade, Touch-Plate® updated component designs and engineering to meet the demands of the growing markets. In 1994 Touch-Plate® lead the industry with MCP (Master Control Panel), the first true Windows™ operating software with real time control and user friendly programming.
